We held the brunch at superstar photographer Olivia Richardson's appartment (read our interview with her here) and invited all the girls to try on their fav pieces. We had an amazing range of props including inflatable Bananas, a unicorn piniata, silly string, cacti and about a tonne of sweets, and our blogger babes also brough along shoes, accesories and jewlery to build their look. When Bill and Mar MD and designer, Rosie, first started the label, print was the biggest influence on designing the collection. There was a huge gap in the market for exciting and bold prints and being in London there was inspiration everywhere - from street art to contrasting textures.
Actually getting unique prints made however was pretty expensive. At first Rosie was making the clothes at home, and then selling them in East London Markets, including Spitafields and Up Market. Keen to stamp the unique Bill+Mar vision on the material she used, the first Bill+Mar print was bleach splattered jersey and multi coloured tie dye - all done in the back garden!

Islands like these are more than we can even dream of and you have to pinch yourself they exist. When we're standing in the rain waiting for the bus, dreaming of lying on a surf board in turquoise waters of a white sandy beach is what stops us eating our body weight in Mars bars. Stunning sunsets, friendly locals and a mix of buzzy towns and chilled out rural beaches makes it our No.1 dream location.
